Essential Music Theory grade 4 works on more complex triads including diminished and augmented ones as well as more challenging transpositions by introducing the new accidentals of double sharps and double flats. This grade book also introduces the student to the imperfect and interrupted cadences and teaches how to harmonise a section of music in four part harmony style. Basic counterpoint between soprano and bass voices is also introduced.
